About this Speaker

Jasmine "Mizz Jasz" Hawkins is a Philadelphia bred educator, poet, and content creator who works beyond the classroom to help women unpack and uproot unhealthy habits, narratives, and mindsets in order to pursue purpose and achieve personal and professional goals. With a B.A. in Writing and Communications, a Masters in Education from the University of Pittsburgh, and a decade of teaching experience, Jasz combines her knowledge of course creation with biblical principles and her own personal journey of self-discovery to develop accountability resources through which women access deeper levels of self in order to find their God-given identity. Outside of her accountability groups, Jasz leads various poetry based writing workshops for inner city youth to help them access their vulnerable selves and recontextualize their life narratives. She also serves as the co-founder and President of Urgent 365, a non-profit geared towards pushing communities of color forward through resource distribution, education programming and social wellness events.
