About this session

What happens when poets with diverse backgrounds, from all over the world, start meeting in a living room in Oakland? They end up inviting their friends (some writers, some not), their mentors, and whoever wants to be there. They end up hosting musicians, opera singers, actors, and sometimes just someone who grabbed the mic. In homage to the old-school salon, Living Room Poetics was born. Now our readers are once again spread all over the world, but we can come together in our virtual living rooms!
